- Should I check my Gerbers before send them for production?We highly recommend you to check always your generated gerber files with gerberviewer before send them for production. This will save you money (wrongly generated files which lead to production of board with errors) and time because if you submit wrong files we'll send you a design query report and that will delay the process.
If you are placing order under our “Low Cost Prototype” category, we just process your PCB design as it is without checking for any error. So, if there is any obvious design error, this could really cost you a lot as you end up having a wrong PCB.
PCB Design Tips
When designing a PCB, try to limit
the amount of draws you use.
Draws use a lot of memory and slows the programming time. Ex.: Use a flash for pads instead of draws. If for some reason we need to increase or decrease that pad size, it can easily be done by changing the D-code but if they are done with draws it could be a nightmare.
